The Trust’s first priority was the establishment of the Semliki Valley Conservation Project (SVCP). This project will combine park management practices, targeted conservation programs and an improved standard of living in local communities in order to save the ecologically valuable, and highly threatened, Toro-Semliki Wildlife Reserve.

Through this project, the Trust aims to restore the Toro-Semliki Wildlife Reserve to its full potential as a wildlife refuge to the benefit of local communities, Uganda and the entire international conservation community.
Projects in other areas of Uganda are being considered and an endowment fund has been established for continued funding of Trust projects.
